The Heart of the Sports Unlimited Court System is the FiBERESiN Panel. The FiBERESiN panel is the first
pre-finished playing surface ever designed and engineered specifically for racquetball, handball, and squash courts.
It is a solid, rock-hard sheet of material that meets the rigid specifications and requirements demanded for these fast action sports courts.
It is composed of high density particleboard cores and multiple layers of thermalset resin impregnated sheets that are molded in hydraulic presses
under controlled heat and high pressure into sheets of varying thickness and density. During this process, laminate and board resins flow together
to form a single sheet that is solid from face to face and from edge to edge. This combination of materials and the thermal fusing process
produces a panel with the highest composite density, mass, and rigidity in the industry. A comparison of impact resistance, density, modulus of
elasticity, modulus of rupture, and internal bond reveals the FiBERESiN difference. And there is definitely a difference!

The surface sheet consists of alpha cellulose overlay impregnated with melamine resin which becomes transparent in molding. This exclusive extra layer resists abrasion, dents, dirt, stain and order better than any other community used court surfaces.

The pattern sheet of heavy cellulose fiber is also impregnated with melamine resin. It reinforces the laminate surface and produces the permanent white appearance.

Multiple layers of high strength resin impregnated kraft papers provide support and impart toughness, strength and impact resistance. A comparable build-up is used front and back for balance to ensure warp resistance, dimensional stability, and structural soundness.

The 1-1/8” wall panel utilizes a stress skin design consisting of a 62#/cf density core sandwiched between two sheets of 71#/cf density particleboard. Thermally fused together they form a panel with a composite density of 65#/cf – the highest in the industry.

The 13/16” wall panel utilizes a 62#/cf density core formulated to create a composite density of 63#/cf.

| Surfaces: | FiBERESiN high pressure melamine laminate, white textured face, edges
finished smooth with five coats of acrylic lacquer. |
| Attachment: | Panels are attached with a concealed H spline, screw applied to the
vertical framing members. Structural steel "C" studs are the most popular,
but wood or metal "Hat" or "Z" channels work well. Because of the spline
method of attachment, Fiberesin panels can be applied direct to masonry
or Portland Concrete when walls are confirmed to be dry, adequately
straight and plumb to support the panel systems. |
